We are sharing Chef Amanda Sullivan's favorite childhood recipe...
Mama's Pasty Dough
A note from Chef Amanda
My mom grew up in a large Irish Community in Butte, Montana. One of my favorite childhood memories is making Irish pasties with my mom. We would typically fill these with ground beef, potatoes, carrots and onions then serve them with ketchup and gravy. I know this isn't the most glamorous recipe but it brings back such great memories of my mom.
I have shared this recipe with many friends and guests especially for St. Patrick's Day. My mom is incredibly special to me and I love being able to share this recipe with as many people as possible. This recipe has a special place in my heart and I hope it will be a wonderful addition to your family.
